At SaneChoice, we have an obligation to the environment. So when we make decisions about suppliers and partners, we consider sustainability. Read about some of our initiatives which contribute to a greener and cleaner environment.
Datacenter Metrics
We use partners with a sustainable focus.
Our biggest partner is Amazon Web Services (AWS), which provides our hosting platform for customers. AWS are progressing with their 100% renewable energy by 2025 initiative and is on track.
In the interim, we only use data centres powered by over 95% renewable energy from Wind or Solar sources.
Making a difference by working remotely.
All our work occurs remotely, using modern technology like VOIP and Zoom to keep our team, partners and clients connected.
In addition, we mandate energy-efficient lighting in our remote environments, minimise the use of peripherals and have almost stopped printing anything.
Tech and tools built for maximum efficiency.
Apple Macs are great for designing websites and keeping us highly productive. They are also efficient with their energy.
Despite all the powerful hardware, we use less than 15W per hour to build websites, communicate and provide client support. All contributing to sustainability.
